I've helped startups launch restaurant apps, acted as advisor for startups and entrepreneurs, worked for and advised multi-million dollar e-commerce companies with everything from APIs to Management. I offer my knowledge and experience and contribute through analytical and systematic means. My experience ranges from integrating APIs and hacking stuff, ​full stack development, SQL programming and report building, Android development, to leading web teams, business development, and entrepreneurship. ​

I deliver strategic systems thinking to projects to ensure we're building quality software. I build awareness for weaknesses in software design and develop plans for working around, improving or refactoring said designs. I'm a great software maintainer, after all, that's what we do 99% of the time.

Remote Work Professional

I'm a remote worker at heart. I was on the front page of the Globe & Mail for when I travelled Western Europe alone for 9 weeks while working remotely, visiting a total of 5 countries and 7 cities . Travel inspires me to do greater things. Lessons learned on remote working I carry with me to every new team I work with.

I have participated in two Startup Weekends and am now co-organizing my 2nd.  I published "Intro To JavaScript" available on Skillshare.  My more recent Gumroad Challenge product is SQL For Zombies which continues to sell without any marketing! I've written many blog posts  I share knowledge because it makes myself and my team stronger.

Things I've worked on the side: Kwollo (jquery/snap.svg/laravel/twitter). Some of my custom Snap.svg plugins are available on github. Hamilton Hotline (python/google app engine/twitter api/twilio api) loosely based off of Grandma Party Hotline. The source is also available on github.  Perfect Cleaners (wordpress/automation tools)where I growth hack part-time.
